Hey All,
I had a customer of mine drop in an LG LGW2 (LW20 / LW20-4BDA), The issue was that the startup tune was skipping like a scratched CD, even Media Player had the same issue playing files, I fiddled with a whole lot of things, and the issue still stayed, so I performed a Format/Reinstall, this fixed the issue... So to me it was software all along, I loaded CA Internet Security (I dont like it, customer swears by it!) and some Compro DTV programs to run his TV Tuner. Everything was running fine. Now, a few weeks later the issue has come back, there has been next to nothing installed on it since.
The laptop is running XP Home SP3, the audio card and chipset drivers are the latest. I have increased the ram and still the same result. Has anyone had the same thing and if so how did you fix it?
Thanks!
