Sound & KB929685

Hello.

Im pretty sure this question is already asked many times, but i hope you will forgive me and try to help me out anyway...
So... Im using windows vista home premium 32bit, like many people i had same problem with my audio... After hibernate|sleep status, then restart, and sound -> gone. I heard that i have to download and isntall KB929685 to fix that. The problem is when im trying to install this "KB929685" it give me error "The updates does not apply your system", so im asking for any other way fix my sound, or solution how fix this error.

Hi kam,

If you have Vista SP1 installed, than the patch you're trying to install is already included in SP1, thus "The updates does not apply your system" notification.

Hotfixes and Security Updates included in Windows Vista Service Pack 1.

As for your sound problems, can't help you there since you've provided no system specs.

I was searching around all internet... Updates Drivers, Re-Installes Drivers, Re-Installed all Realtek... KB929685 cant install, and still there are no sound. Right now im really pissed becuase, i tryed so much things for nothing. Why the hell i had to pay for license if this vista even not working -_-. Howerver, enough those annoying answers that doesnt help, i want at last hear any answer that really may help. And yes all devices are enabled, checked more than 20 times...

Hey ya all just saying had another problem with the KB929685 windows update
you see it all happened after my VID card fell apart well in use (which had happened from over use)anyway after to long i realised tattit was still under warenty so i sent it off.After when i got it back a days before cristmas i wen't to use a cd after about 90-120 updates it dident work.After alot of crap with the internet not working and phone cutting out i got it to work again by restoring my computer bt after a update which i said for it Not to do my CD drive has stoped Working so just checking if anyone knows WTF happned
