My sound does not work, but the strange thing is; i know exactly what to do to fix it, the problem is getting there:
1) I pull up the Start menu
2) I select "Run"
3) I type in "services.msc"
4) I press enter
5) I press the "Standard" tab on the bottom of the window
6) I scroll down to "Windows Audio"
7) I double-click "Windows Audio"... properties does not pop up
8) I right-click "Windows Audio" and select Properties... it does not pop up
9) I click the icon at the top of the window that says Properties... it does not pop up
10) Clicking "Start" on the "Windows Audio" and it gives me an error message saying "error 1068"
All other attempts to get the sound working has failed, like checking if my sound card is up to date, going to "Add Hardware", checking the hardware status, etc. etc.
all i need to do is to be able to get the the properties of "Windows Audio" in services. help please!
