some suggestions to the forum

hey guys..i dont know if u guys will like it or not..or if the admins and mods approve of this..but i was thinking of a chat box or something on the forum..for quick simple answers..rather than wait an hour for an answer...or maybe even a live chat..where people can talk and explain how to fix certain problems..

Anyway as for the shoutbox/chat script these are way to server intensive, we are just managing on the server we have without putting any extra strain on it.

I also agree.

The good thing about leaving messages is that they are topic orientated. If you have alot of people on a message box people will try posting lots of messages about different things at the same time.

You would need more than one talk groupe because of this nature and that would be even more server intensive.

It's not the same, but you can always use PM to send messages back and forth to discuss things, then post a copy of the solution with the post when one is found.
