Should I download SP1?

I have Windows Vista Home Premium.

Windows Updates wants me install Service Pack 1.

1) I am up-to-date with Windows Updates, so do I really need the Service Pack?

2) Also, isn't it just going to take up unnecessary hard drive space since most of the fixes in SP1 were already downloaded by Windows Updates?

3) Does SP1 automatically not install whatever is already on the computer?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

SP-1 is a significant update for Vista and fixed many issues for many systems. You will probably not be offered any other updates until you install SP-1.

To answer your question.

What the hell are you waiting for?
