Hello Chris,

Usually you will not have a shortcut for a device in the Start menu. Instead, it would be a shortcut for the software that is installed for the device.

If you have already installed the program for th webcam voice, then look in the C:\Program Files folder for that program. You can create a shortcut from the program's EXE file and put that in the Start Menu.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Chris,

Does the webcam show up in Device Manager and as working properly?

Not sure if this is the same model, but here is the driver download page for the Live Cam Voice webcam if you have not installed Vista drivers for it.

Creative Worldwide Support > Live! Cam Voice

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Hate to say it by about all you'll get from Creative is a copy and paste response that if you're really lucky, will have a link to the same driver Shawn linked to. Oh and at the bottom will be a lovely little advertisement trying to sell you the latest and greatest, whether those products work with Vista is beside the point.

If worse comes to worse you can try what I did with a Webcam Instant that has no Vista drivers. I just installed the XP drivers for it (on both a 32 bit and 64 bit Vista) by right clicking on the exe before installing, and setting it to XP compatibility mode. Surprisingly it worked, and the wife is happy that she can use the cam on either computer (and I didn't have to buy a new one :p ).
