Hi,

1. Click on the Start Orb and then click on Control Panel. (All steps have screenshots below and you can click on any screenshot to enlarge it.)

1.JPG

2. Double click on "Problem Reports and Solutions".

2.JPG

3. Click "See Problems to Check" on the left hand pane. (N.B. Your window will not look exactely the same as mine)

3.JPG

4. Under Skype, click "More Details". I do not have SetupLauncher in my list, so substitute my Installer for your SetupLauncher.

4.JPG

5. Copy everything in the red box on MY screenshot and paste it into a reply to this thread. Alternatively you could make a screengrab of the whole window and reply with that instead.

How to take a screengrab: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/148532-how-use-snipping-tool-vista.html

6. Click "OK".

6.JPG

7. Check "Select All" and "Check again for solutions to other problems" then click "Check for Solutions". If any new solutions are found, particularly for SetupLauncher, open them up and see what they say.

8. Please can you tell us exactly what MP3 player you are trying to install and send us back that piece of text. Then we may be able to fix your problem.

Thanks,

Richard

My Computer

Hi,

Here is the latest software and firmware for your device:

Content Transfer Manager: Content Transfer Version 1.3 for Walkman (NWZ-A, NWZ-E, NWZ-S, NWZ-W, NWZ-X) Series : Sony Australia

Media Manager: Media Manager for Walkman Version 1.2 : Sony Australia

Firmware: NWZ-E443/E444/E445 Firmware Version 1.01 Update Program : Sony Australia

Make sure you are using the latest version of all three of these. If it still does not work, TEMPORERILY disable DEP and try the install again. DO NOT leave DEP off. It is an intrinsic part of your security system and SHOULD NOT be disabled. Here is how to disable DEP: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/120778-dep-enable-disable.html

Tell us how it goes,

Richard
