Setup.exe has stopped working

I am trying to uninstall PC Speedscan pro from my computer. I go to the control panel and click on programs and features and then highlight it. once I click the uninstall button I receive the message displaying setup.exe has stopped working. I have vista home premium 32bit. Please help!!!

lets start by going into event viewer. type event viewer in search. go to the windows logs, appications tab. look for errors (red"x' in left column) that say app crash, app hang, etc and have setup in the app name. there will be alot of them. look around teh time when you last tried to uninstall it. copy the event ID, and source codes down and let us know what they are

Hello Vanessa,

If suggestions Zigzag gave won't work for you, try to download the Revo Uninstaller. With this application you can get rid all unwanted programs which you can't the traditional way. I suggest, download the portable version of it, so you can install it in the folder of your choice and delete the RevoUninstaller folder without any problem when not needed any more. Hope it helps.
