Solved Services In Vista

Hi,
Can someone please guide me as to what services are really not needed in vista services?
I am unsure what to set as manual, disable, or, automatic?
Just the ones that are not really needed.

I would suggest since you don't already know what services you need, don't tinker with too much. It'd be a shame if in a week you post a new thread about how you disabled some services and now you can't do something you used to.

No one can give you a list of services to disable because we dont know what you do with your pc. For instance you may have a printer whereas others do not. In their case they can disable the Print Spooler service but you cant etc.

You just need to read up on each service and then you can know what you do or dont need.

I would also offer up BlackViper.com for a services list. I've found that website to be incredibly useful, over the years, as it contains Services guides for all major versions of Windows as well as other tweaks.
