Selecting partition OS.

Recently Dual booted Vista Prem 64bit and Ultimate 32 bit, when it comes to the sceen for selecting OS it always counts down and opens Default.

You should be able to use Up/Down arrow keys, to select required OS, and Enter should activate instantly.

Anyone any ideas to stop the countdown and transfer activation to keyboard keys.

You can increase your time-out time in the Boot menu under Vista.

Right-Click Computer -> Properties -> Advanced System Properties -> Start and Restart properties (Or something like that, my Vista is in Dutch).

I know how to alter the time out, its the fact that the arrow keys don't work, to select a different OS.

Well done Sidney, yes legacy was enabled but it showed that USB keyboard support wasn't, Enabled it and its now working as it should do, no auto countdown, just select with arrow keys and Enter.

All done in about 3/4 of an hour, service indeed.:D
