I searched and only found one forum listing - but no threads - for ipp and scanner.
Vista print fax & scan - Page 101 - Vista Forums
I have an HP OfficeJet 5600 all-in-one Scanner/Fax/Copier/Printer attached currently via USB to my wife's Vista (32-bit) workstation.
I have two laptops connected via wireless which I use primarily. Both use Ubuntu 9.04 with either Win7 or XP under VirtualBox.
I bought a Cisco/Linksys WPS 54G Wireless print server to allow access to the two laptops for printing. It sets up a internet shared printer which can be used by all.
Here's the product: Linksys by Cisco - WPS54G Support
I noticed that - on my wife's workstation - I could not scan whne the printer was attached to the print server. I looked up and found solutions for using network scanning using CUPS under Ubuntu. However, i cannot seem to fnd how to do this in Vista.
Does anyone have a suggestion?
