Hi all. I'm running Vista Home Premium 64 bit and have tried to install both of the above programmes but have had problems.
I really like Winamp for its look and particularly the visualizations which I think are a lot better than WMPs. Anyway I had a lot of problems with it but then read that the bug was with Winamps cd ripper so I disabled that and it now runs fine.
However I used to rip my cds to disc in Winamp and now I can't and I'm not sure about using WMPs ripper as I hear rumours about DRM etc.
I have Nero 7 Ultimate but can't figure a way to use that to rip to my HDD, it always wants to make cd copies.
Can anyone suggest a way to do this in Nero or a way to make Winamp fully functional or an alternative cd ripper I could install?
Also Sandboxie won't install at all and I use to love this elegant security solution with XP. I used to run my browser in it and test bed any software etc in it. As a result I had very few problems.
Once again does anyone have any suggestions to get it to run or an alternative sand box type solution?
Thanks for listening, John
