Quick and right to the point,
MY DRIVE WILL NOT READ ANYTHING...
This one is with NO CD in it.
THIS one is one with my BIOSHOCK CD in the drive.
Notice how my drive changes the type of disc IN IT,
but never lets me access it and tells me THERES NOTHING IN THE TRAY.
This is a Samsung SH-183L DVD-RW drive with latest firmware: SB03
i have UNINSTALLED MY DRIVE, RESTARTED, (DOESNT WORK) THEN I TRIED ROLLING BACK MY FIRMWARE TO SB02 (DOESNT WORK EITHER).
now my point is that I uninstalled DAEMON Tools 4.06HE right before i took these pictures and IT DID THE EXACT SAME THING AS MY PHYSICAL DRIVE DID.
Whenever i mounted an image (ISO,BIN,MDF,ETC.), it would change to CD-ROM, but says there's no disc in the tray. SOMETHING IS CORRUPT IN VISTA as i have had numerous BSODS due to memory OCING and it may have corrupted some files and what not.
ANYONE KNOW A SOLUTION??? (I hear it could have something to do with not having a sound device enabled, but my creative soundcard is the default so i shouldnt have that problem)
