Hello all,
I have a two month old Samsung CLX-3160FN multi-printer which worked well on my Windows XP (SP2) system. However, trying to install it on my new system with Vista Hoem Premium (64) has been more than a challange.
Like many other posts that I've read, I too get the following:
"Driver Installation Error - Windows cannot install the Samsung CLX-3160 series kernal-mode print driver. To obtain a driverthat is compatible with this version of Windows you are running, contact the manufacturer"
Well, I've done that. I've also downloaded the two Vista 2008 drivers posted on the Samsung site, but neither works. I've checked the Vista Compatibility Center and the Samsung printer is listed as compatible with Vista 64.
Has anyone found a workable solution yet??
