Lately I have been playing Sims 3 and when I minimize it to check my AIM or email and such it says that I am running low on memory and that I should close the program. I just hit cancel ignoring it. I have 4GB of RAM and use 3D CAD and have never had that happen...even playing BattleField 2142 on the max settings. Is this just because I minimized the game and it has to store my session in memory and with some much going on at the same time pushes the memory to the max? If I check it in the task manager it runs at almost 1GB of memory whe minimized. The game is rated for 2 GB of RAM recommended...is something else causing this? I also do not use a paging file(reduces hard drive thrashing)...can this be the culprit? The notebook never slows down either so it definitely has me confused.
Check my system specs for more info.
Thanks in advance.
