Rundll32

My security software on my laptop keeps blocking a program from accessing the internet called Rundll32 Windows Host Process. The pc also occasionally pops up saying this. It's been doing this on both pc and laptop for some time now. Should I just leave it blocked? Thanks

Rundll32 is a needed Windows Process, however many times virus and other malware use the process to hide.
I would run a full and updated virus scan and in addition download and make a full updated scan with malwarebytes. If they are positive I will get a virus expert to help you further.

I always regularly scan both pc and laptop with malwarebytes and my security software. Both came back clear on the laptop (Jacee is already helping me with virus problems on my pc)

I'm thinking of changing my security from Virgin Media (which doesn't seem to be a very well know security software) to Kaspersky as VM seems to slow the pc/laptop down.

If you are working with Jacee, you should bring this matter to her attention. It should not be blocked if there is no problem.

You are very welcome. Jacee is one of the best. If she says you have no malware, you can be sure that you are ok.
