Rundll32.exe Error

Every time when I start my computer I get the following message:

Runtime Error!

Program: C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an
unusual way.

Please contact the application's support team for assistance.

I was wondering if there is any solution as it makes my system crash frequently. I already used my antivirus and registry cleaners such as Reg Cure, but still no dice.

When you startup your computer, it tries to load all of the selective startup services and programs as well.

I've had this problem with my old HP pavilion desktop and it leads to a program that is trying to be started, but is corrupt and officially cannot.

Try msconfig, from the run command or search bar (in vista) and browse the startup tab for any programs that are trying to start at boot.

You can also look at the event viewer in the administrative tools in the control panel.

Run sfc /scannow at an administrator command prompt too.
