Are you using any backup software or partition software other than microsoft on your system. (Not for the restore perpose that you are having problems with)?

Do you close down your computer or use sleep?

Do you use any encryption programs?

Try shutting down your computer fully (to a power off state), then turning back on.

On backup and restore centre, where are the files set to backup to.Cap.jpg
