reinstalling vista issue! :(

So, my computer caught a nasty virus and deleted most of my stuff. Anyway, I found my Vista reinsallation cd and popped that in. But I gets to a point where it asks for a username and password but I don't have one set for my computer. I mit has me clicked on "other user" and that's where it asks me to log in. I think I have a user name because when I boot up my computeer, I click on the square that has the picture and the name underneath. So I figured that's my username..but I don't have a password set up.

I'm also going from windows 7 to vista, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. I can't find my windows 7 cd..just the upgrade cd. Is there anyway to set up a user name and password for "other user"?

I tried dell support system but I've had enough of them. Way too frustrating to deal with them again.
