Ok, so I'm having trouble connecting to the network on a laptop PC. After a long time on the phone with the ISP, I was told that I would have to 'Rip out the NIC' and reinstall the software. They of course would not elaborate on what this means because it's not under their responsibilities. (Turns out the modem is working fine and the x-box can connect through it)
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers for the network card, but that didn't fix the problem. I've also seen this tutorial here http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/186716-network-connection-delete.html on how to delete a network connection. I though maybe then I could set it back up.
HOWEVER, I can't do step 2, as I'm not connected to a network, there is no customize link to click. How do I get into the Merge or Delete Network Locations window without it?
