i have reg. mechanic 8 installed on my p.c. vista 32 bit .every time i try to start the program windows stops me and says it has a problem. i had it on my p.c. befare and it worked fine. when i restart my pc i see conflicts with anti-malware and windows defender interfering with the reg. mechanic from starting. the web start says the program has no conflicts with other software. would it be my anti-malware program a-squared be the one doing it?

Some times other anti spy/malware/virus prograns conflict with each other if they have a Live time monitoring. To use the application (from my past experance) Temp Disable the monitoring/program. Run your Reg. Mechanic 8 untill it has completed it's scan and review the contents that require/suggested need fixing or deleting. Some times Reg Edits/cleaners will want to make chanages to your anti Malware/spyware/virus scanners.

But once that is all done, you can just restart your applications for Security Protections.

If reg. mechanic is a registry "fixer", you might want to click on the link below.

Sounds like Reg. Mechanic 8 has made some changes in your registry regarding the anti-malware program and windows defender. Try Systems Restore and see if it helps get you back to when there wasn't a problem before its too late and you end up re-installing Windows Vista.

---I agree NOW also about registry-cleaners---(I downloaded several of the FREE ones online, and each of them want to tinker inside my pc-files = I deleted them all, because they want me to buy their item to FIX my issues)---no thank you---

peace

I use Advance System care Free and CCleaner, all of the keys that come up on my PC have always been empty keys after I remove a file or program. Just make sure you use the back up that the program has. If you run into problems just restore.
