Recycle bin problems

Hello

I have vista home edition and lately , each time i try to delete something even 1 mb file to recycle byn takes over 2 or 3 hours to delete and sometimes freezes the pc or never delete .

any ideas ?

not sure if it's related to a problem i've noticed, but when in the recycle bin and i empty it, sometimes the files still look as if there still there, i have to exit the recycle bin, then go back into it and there gone

Hello John,

You may have a corrupted Recycle Bin. Try resetting it using this tutorial to see if helps any with your problem.
