i have vista64 on a asus p5kpl motherboard
i upgraded to vista64 so that i can use all4ram of my memories. everything went nice such as mouse drivers and webcam... the problem is the sound.
I have downloaded the last realtek drivers for vista64 and i dont have any sound at all.
My pc have front and rear audio entries, but i allways used the back ones because my phones dont enter in the front ones i dont know why.
So i connected ond the rear audio as usual (winxxp32 work fine) and the realtek maneger detected "HD 2nd audio input". Beside that and still without sound. On the maneger if a cut the sound off and on i can ear a click on the phones really strange :O

Please, please help me tankx

I had the same issue with a gigabyte MB. The current driver that I used to make it work is 6.0.1.5772 dated 1/6/2009 this is simply for the realtek 8187 family. I am new to this forum but have had much experience in setting up PC's to operate from previous home made PC's and operating systems. What Motherboard do you run? A good rule of thumb is do a search and look for the realtek HD audio drivers for Vista 64 bit. You can also use some driver detection programs that will allow you to view the name of what you need then do a search online for it.
