Realtek HDAudio Driver corrupted !!

Jst i wanted to update my HD Realtek audio driver in Vista Home Premium 32bit but after installing the new driver (2.18) ,all the audio drivers and devices stopped working and even not able to update the audio driver with windows tools or any other way ...
If i try to install a new driver the system tells me the the driver installation failed .
Please help i'm living without sound

I find that the best way to update the audio driver is to follow the instructions in this Tutorial http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-device-manager-install-driver.html

If the update messed up ...roll back the driver ...:
Do the same thing in device manager ..but this time click " ROLL BACK" ...
You should be OK....
If you click "Look for the driver"...It 'll look for the "Messed up one that you just installed"
(BTW ....Remember ..."Update" does not mean "better")
If its working...leave it alone....IMO.

If your Realtek Audio Driver is corrupted then you simply uninstall the driver and put the driver cd in your cd or dvd drive and install it correctly andrestart the PC then you can see it will install in your pc perfectly.If not then it will be chance of some problem in your hardware device.
