Re-install ideas :)

Hi
I have a virus on my Laptop which is impossible to remove
So i have decided to re-install
I am gonna use Dell OEM .iso file and gonna burn it on a Dvd
I am gonna use the key at the bottom of the laptop
Is it a good idea to do this.
Any ideas anything will go wrong

So i have 2 keys
If i m re-installing vista back to vista, i can use the key that came when i bought this laptop
The 2nd key, back on my laptop, can i use that to upgrade to win 7....
I am clever i know,..... jk
is this correct what i wrote?

I think that it is easier than that. If you had a valid copy of Vista on your computer, which you removed, you can just install an upgrade version of Windows 7. You only need one key. Read this and post back if you have any questions or you think that I misunderstood your question
