If you short pins 1 & 6 on the 5 pin serial din plug on the rear of the c64, this should cause a soft reset and all ports should start working again

2...Any decent 'Stihl' or 'McCulloch' 18 inch bar chainsaw should do the trick :D.
But remember, don't cut the timber too short in the lengths, you'll need them for the next step!

3...Recycle the timber recovered at 2.above, and using suitable lengths to span the large security hole, fix firmly in place using 2/65x10mm galv. hex head [for untreated timber] self-drilling drive screws, each end. Finish plugging the hole with 2 x cross-lateral [corner-to-corner] bracings.:huh: Plug any draught gaps with tar. That should do the trick!!

In future, use the front door only. For added security, install a door buzzer, and 'Dead-locks'.

I would recommend replacing the whole door with either a thicker wood or metal one, and reinforce the walls around it just in case the Trojans decide to create a back hole instead of a back door.

Install a Hercules graphics card?
