Can someone of you guys tell me where the folder is located that contains the files or shortcuts that show up in the "Programs and Features" window?

As far as I can tell, the "Programs and Features" list is hard coded, depending on which version of Vista you have.

Is there any particular reason you need to know in which "folder" it is stored?

I'm using Vista Home Premium 32Bit and there is no particular reason but I was wondering a long time ago where this folder is located that contains these files or shortcuts.

The way I understand it is that the icons that show up in the "Programs and Features" window are only shortcuts to the program uninstallers.

Anyway, I would like to know for sure how this works and where the folder is located that stores the data.

Maybe you can shed some light on this subject.

There is no folder for this, but you can modify the list by using Method Three through the registry in the tutorial below.
