Hi
I got a new laptop yesterday running Vista Home Premium 64 bit. I am trying to install Rome Total War onto the laptop but which program files should I save it to, the normal 'program files' or 'program files (x86)' because I dont know the difference.
Thanks
Sooty

A 64-bit system actually has 2 such folders, one for 64-bit programs and one for 32-bit ones (indicated by the x86 suffix). It is generally best to allow the installation routine to decide which of the folders a particular program should be installed to.

Thanks for the reply Dwarf
The reason I asked was because I installed it first off before posting here and the installation wizard installed part of the game on the 32bit and 64bit program files. When I tried to run the game it wudn't work, presumably because the data was in two different folders. I then uninstalled it and posted here.
