Problems with Disk drive

So awhile ago I decided to update my Vista to Windows 7 but have come across a small problem every time I get to the boot up screen it just sits there loading the cd then when its done it does nothing. I thought it was just the CD but every CD someone burns for me it does the same where it will load up then sit there doing nothing.

Ok. Firstly have you made sure you have set the boot options in your BIOS to 1. CD/DVD drive 2. Hard Drive 3.USB ETC. It all depends on which ones in place 1. If its your Hard Drive then it will boot the hard drive leaving the cd. To enter BIOS, turn on your pc and when the logo comes up press F2 to enter bios. SOMETIMES its DELETE. When you are in bios navigate to boot. and depending on your bios use the designated keys to move CD/DVD drive to 1. if it is not there already.

Now try again.

2nd. Can you see it in my computer when you load windows?
