Problems to burn....

Hi, i've just registered to this forums urging for help, i have a strange problem, i can read dvd's however, i can't burn dvd's, i've search for solutions but i've found none, hopefully i'll get one here.

I THOUGHT THE PROBLEM WOULD BE SOLVED WITH A SYSTEM RESTORE, STARTING FROM SCRATCH, I'VE TRIED ROXIO, NERO AND WINDOWS VISTA ITSELF TO BURN MY DVD NONE WITH SUCCESS

Which software are you trying to use to burn DVD's?

I've used nero, roxio and just dragging files to the disc

Navigate to key HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} and check you have phrases UpperFilters or LowerFilters -> if you find them remove them +restart

I've realized that the problem are the dvd's, i could burn with tdk dvd+rw but i can't burn with fujifilm dvd-r, what can i do with my 25 fuji dvds? Please don't tell me they're useless...

It is still not normal though. Appropriate firmware may fix it but I wouldn't fix anything when it is not broken. Keep the disks; you may get another drive down the road.
