Problem running games

Hi all

I just upgraded an older computer to vista 32bit home premium and the upgrade went well. This computer is used mostly for satellite tracking and is running all of the necessary software just fine, including some DOS apps. I also use it for running the few games that I like, all racing sims.

F1 2002, F1 2007, F1 2008 and TOCA race driver 3. Not one of these games will run no matter what I try. I've updated all the video drivers, set the compatibility, run in administrator mode and anything else I can think of. Once started the games run their video check programs and the screen goes black and that''s it. I have to do a power switch reset to get the computer back. These games all ran great under xp on the same machine.

I would prefer to get the games working in Vista, I find it much more user friendly than xp but if no solution can be found for this problem I will have to go back to xp.

Which brings another question, will I be able to revert to xp using the OEM disk that came with the computer?

Any help on these issues would be appreciated.

Charlie

Well no help here. Sad that my post was moved from the general discussion area because I feel I had a better chance over there. Mostly youngsters here I guess.
Anyway I went back to xp and set up a dual boot system.

I wasn't aware you could buy F12007 and 2008 for PC. Is it an update to EA Sports F1 Challenge?
