Print problem after Feb 10, 2010 updates

This is a variation on the Quicken problem printing under Vista x64. I had implemented the HP990C workaround recommended earlier and was experiencing no problems until the Feb 10 updates. Following that, Quicken ceased printing again. I also noticed that Vista had reset that printer to offline. Is there a known fix or workaround for the problem this time?

1.Navigate to Windows Update,check optional updates,maybe MS have newest drivers,if yes install it.
2.Try this MS "Fix it" Printing problems and printing errors
