Solved press matte lcd screen

my friend was using my computer and pointed at something on the lcd screen so hard that that whole spot went black. That spot they pressed looks fine, but is that really bad for the lcd?

ummm... yeah, its about the worst thing you can do to a flat panel monitor, short of hitting it with a hammer....lol

If they do it again, press just as hard on their eyeball and ask them how they like it!

should I be worried about the computer monitor???? It looks fine, but......

if its still functioning, with no dead pixels...... dont worry about it (& make sure it dont get poked again)
