Pogo & pop-up windows...

Hello everyone. I have a Dell Inspiron 1720 laptop with a 17 inch screen. I am running Vista Home 32bit and it has Intel Centrino Duo.

I can get to pogo, and play the games. The problem I have is with the pop-up windows for the games. The pop-up window is bigger than the game. I would like the game to be the same size as the pop-up window.

I have added 4 screen shots below so you can see what I am talking about. I would like to get this resolved so I can send my other computer in for repair.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give. :)

Sherri

Have you tried resizing the windows manually? Sometimes certain pop-up windows just don't auto-scale to the content resolution.

Hi Sherri, I think it must be Pogo. I had the same problem. When you go to resolutions and change it then you can`t see the chat where you type in some games. I`m having that problem now. It doesn`t happen in all the games just the full screen one. Good luck . I heard other prople complaining about this with Vista ,never happened in XP

hello:

---I went to Pogo.com myself to look at the games---(they load ok to me)---though I prefer other online game sites myself---//Pogo has the HELP page where you can email them, also customer support, etc, - you want to try that?//---

Hi again,
I can get mine to load like yours is but on XP it loaded full screen for Tri-Peaks and some of the other games. In games that are only half page the chat is fine.
I know I can email support but they are so slow answering and it is such a hassel to ask a question...lol In your first post with the screen shot you can see the chat when I play that I can`t see the bottom of the page.
Anyway maybe I should post a screen shot of what I`m talking about. Thanks
for your help

hello:

---how about download Windows-XP into your pc, and then 'uninstall' Vista?---(a few of my friends who also play online games, prefer to stay with XP because it is smoother and uses less memory)---and if gaming is THE most important use of the pc, then (in my opinion) I would use XP---anyone else?---
---please post your results---

Answer

If the link doesn't work for you click on Help and type "window size" in the search box and look for the answer, "Why can't I see the chat window properly in Internet Explorer 7?".

Another thing to check, what version of Java are you running? To check open Control Panel and click on the Java icon there, then on the General tab click on About and it will show which version you have installed.
