im looking for atheros wireless lan adapter 7.2.0.164. i go to the manufacture site but all i get when i try to download is a wizard or a free scan, i cant find were i download just the driver, plzzz help,

should i try toshiba? i dont understand y this is given me such a hard time, im going to the manufactr of the driver, and still being pushed off to the scaners and fast fix all in 1 type companys

Maybe this will help. First go to your control panel and select Administrative Tools. Next Computer Management ==> [CONTINUE] ==> Device Manager. Right Click Properties on the Network adapter having an 802.11g attribute. good so far???

Select the tab with "Details".

Choose Hardware IDs from the drop down menu and highlight/copy the first entry.

GOOGLE that and see if your driver turns up.

I'd go with Toshiba.

Unfortunately, with laptops things can be slightly different between drivers.

If this was a desktop, I'd go right to the card manufacturer, but laptops no.

You search via the model number, i'd look but you didn't give it.
