Can someone please explain to me how to attach files to my posts in this forum. I finally managed to get a couple to go through yesterday, but today I've tried 3 or 4 times to attach two screenshots to my post and they are not showing up!
Click the Go Advanced button below the message input area.
Click the Manage Attachments button below the expanded message input area.
Click Add Files at top right of File Upload Manager window.
Click the Browse button.
Navigate to where your file is and double click on it or click once to select it then click the Open button.
Click the Upload button below and to the right of the Browse button.
Click Done.
It's not obvious anything happened, but if you click Preview Post at lower right you will see it's really there.
I am testing your instructions. They are the same as what I followed. Sometimes I had success and sometimes not and I always did select the preview button to see if they had registered. On the preview page it would appear they were there, but then I'd click submit and look at my post and nothing.
And the same things just happened here. I followed your instructions exactly. When I clicked on the preview button it appeared that attachement was there. After I clicked submit it was nowhere to be seen.
I just clicked Edit Post on this post again. Now I am scrolling down and my attachment appears under Manage Attachments. I am going to attempt to take another screenshot to show you. But as soon as I Save Changes to this and it actually finalizes, there will be no attachment.
See, above, no attachment. Now I'm going to try dragging it from the HOME box down below, then clicking on "Insert Inline" over at the bottom right and see what happens. OK, that worked, but why couldn't I just add it as an attachment by following the instructions you gave?
Well, then, I'm going to give it another try. If no attachment comes through you know it didn't work.

When I look below under Attachments: Manage Attachments, that Test Screenshot.JPG shows there
Nope -- didn't come through. Am I supposed to click on the Insert Inline for these -- each time?
