Below is a copy of my List ShadowStorage using the VssAdmin console command.
I fully understand the C: storage, in fact I set the MaxSize. But, why do I have unused E: storage, and, MOST IMPORTANTLY, can I get rid of it. It may be an artifact from my recently upgrading my C: hardrive using Seagate's hard drive utility that move the OS onto the new hard drive using a "mirror" image. BUT, I did reformat the E: drive after this transfer. All is well and the Seagate utility worked great, but why can't I get rid of Shadows now on the E: drive. As you can see, the values are "0", but I had to set a minimum MaxSize of 300MB. I'm using Vista X64 Home Premium, and this may be part of the problem. Can you delete Shadows w/ Home Premium, and how?
Thanks folks, or anyone who understands this problem.
