Hi.

i got 2 issues.

How the hell do i get WMC to play all the files in one folder? like for my series i have ripped to my drive, i want them to play all, one after one. is this possible?

Another thing, how can i implement or play Blu-ray movies in WMC??

Come on, someone must have an answer, at least to the playlist thing.. its annoying as hell :(

Hi

Point One:
There is no way to automatically play a complete series one after each other. The way I do this is:
  • Create separte directors for each of your DVD's;
  • Use MyMovies 2 (Just Google and Install)
  • Create a new title and then list the locations for each of the DVD's in the series;
  • In MCE, you'll now see a high level icon for the series and then within that an icon for each DVD.
Point 2.
There is no native support for BD disks within VMC but you can install something like PowerDVD Ultra to play the disk from a BD drive. It gets a little more complicated if you want to play them from your hard drive. Let me know if this is something you want to do? (Remember a BD disk can be upto 50GB each)

But its still annoying i cant put a playlist up.
As i got all avi files in a Folder that i want to play.. In my world that wouldnt be hard to make, as it just needs to play the next in the folder..

but u tell me that movie program should do the trick?

Hi

I use it for .VOB files and .ISO images but it will support any format that VMC supports. You will need to put each AVI file in it's own folder and then link them in MyMovies 2.

You do have the option within MyMovies to list Offline DVD's as well. It will display your BD playlist and then ask you to insert the correct disk.
