Plan3D.exe not opening correctly

I have recently downloaded Plan3d Home design software and subscribed on a yearly basis. I have been unable to open it correctly or fully for doing original design of persnal home modifications. I note sometime ago messeges were posted here about similar problems and wonder if anyone has gotten satisfactory service. I have Toshiba SAtellite 105 Laptop, Vista Hme Premium, 1 gig RAM 32 bit file system about one year old. Display Adapter Mobile Intel 945 GM Express Chipset Family. Main window comes up with title but blank page. Table of addin features along right side. Canned Home designs with purchase of plans info display, but cannot get imported floor plan to appear. I have just been burnt by this company. Unfortunately I believe they have no intention of refunding. The product doesn't work in Vista and they have no phone number or 'customer relations' dept. It's a scam for sure. I am just going to have to dispute the purchase and block their ability to get the money. Again, it's a scam.

Here is answer I received. I now have the program operating OK, but it was a step by step difficult learning cycle

Hello Robert,

The problem you are having is common and easily fixed.

The reason your system stops responding is because when plan3D accesses your video card to turn on 3D – your video card stops (malfunctions) due to the video card "driver" being out of date. This was caused by one of the many recent automatic Microsoft Window updates and is easy to fix.

Updating the video card driver fixes the problem, is free and only takes a few minutes. For simple instructions to update your driver click this: http://www.plan3d.com/pages/FAQ/driverFAQ.aspx
