Philips SNU6500 USB Network Adapter / Driver install help

Ciaron

Hi,

so i recently brought a SNU6500 wireless adapter from philips only to find out it doesnt support vista :O now ive had a look around and found out that a good amount of people have got it to work and ive seen 2 ways to make it work but unfortunately failed because of one damn reason

vista knows the drivers are for XP etc and wont install them but if i get them to install it will apparently work

so how can i install the XP drivers so it will recognise it properly so i can connect to the internet.

To sum up how can i install the XP drivers while using Windows home premium 64bit
and just so you know these are the drivers - Philips Support - SNU6500/00

Hi!

I have the exact same problem as Ciaron, I've tried the two solutions that worked for previous guys... Still it won't work... I have really no idea what to do and that is why I'm asking for help here in this forum.:huh::huh:

I just thought that I should mention that Philips says that it is not compatible with Vista and it's only weird that it worked for other ppl... Im going to buy a new USB network adapter and I suggest that you do the same Ciaron, if someone got it to work they must have Vista 32-bit...
