PC Keeps Crashing

Hi Guys,
Sorry to disturb again with questions and problems but this one is more important.
Sometimes when I am on the computer, my computer crashes and it restarts itself.
I have Avast 4.8 Home Edition,Spyware Doctor and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and I did full scan on all those programs and nothing was found as a threat. Is there a possibility I have a virus/trojan/malware or something else and the scan can't find it?
What do you suggest I would do? You know, how I can fix it? I thought of reformatting (starting from scratch) but I can't find the Windows Vista CD that came with the PC in the first place, maybe it didn't come, I don't know. Can I reformat without a CD? I think its a driver problem, I get this screen http://jmobley123.files.wordpress.com/2008/10/blue-screen-of-death1.jpg, when it crashes. And also I don't think I have a restore point because I remembered that I deleted all restore points. What should I do? Please and Thank You
