passwords not being "remembered"

This pertains to Vista Mail but i don't like using those other threads if you know what i mean. SO, Windows mail is not remembering my password, no matter what is checked/not checked, etc. I've even tried the Mail Problems tutorial by the illustrious Brink (thank you sir). Still no good. This is weaing me out!

Surely, someone has had this happen to them and been able to fix it? Its only happened in the last week or two, and nothing has happened to my machine, all else is normal.

Hi Dustin,

You could try Live Mail Desktop or a System Restore since something has modified the setting externally?

you know, that was one of the first thing i tried (restore point), but to no avail. Also, now i can't download anything through IE 7. Not from the CNET download page, not from Memeo.com to update my back up software...nothin.

IE7Pro comes with a good download manager and a ton of other utilites, you can also try resetting Internet Explorer using this Tutorial...
