parameter error

When trying to log on, it would not let me.it would kept locking up. Finally i used f11 and it had message with parameter 0x80070057. How can i fix my start up. It did it when i did updates, Can anyone help me?

Try to boot in safe mode and get to system restore., Go back a few days before the problem with system restore.

Then go to Windows Update and set it to notify you when updates are available then you can install them one at a time to find the one causing the trouble.

    Weakest part of my computer is the graphics chipset. Only ever used a laptop. Also use USB Freeview TV Card Lenovo Docking Station External Speakers Other bits a pieces as needed
