Palm Drivers

I am trying to sync my Palm with Vista 64 bit edition, but it won't work because the drivers only work on 32 bit systems. Is it possible to use the drivers in 32 bit mode? I know Vista lets you run software as if it were installed on a previous Microsoft OS. I am sure it is way too hard to convert the driver to 64 bit drivers.

I have a Palm Centro and am trying to get it to work with Palm Desktop 6.2 - http://www.palm.com/us/support/downloads/win_desktop.html

Also, what does this do?
