Paint Problems

Greetings, I have been having some trouble using 'Paint' in Vista Home Premium. I have 2 problems; the first is that when I try to rotate an image that I have drawn half of it disappears & the second is that when I try to print a detailed image that I have created most of the pixels blur together (for example a line of individual pixels with spaces in between them will blur into a solid line). If anyone knows how to solve these problems please let me know, I would be very grateful!

HI CRS, and welcome to the Vista Forums

Paint to be totally honest is a very limited application if you are producing much more than doodles I believe you would be better off looking at another drawing program.

Two that you may want to take a look at are GIMP which is a fully fledged Photo editor and graphics package, and INKSCAPE, which is a complete "vector" image design package, which produces fully scalable images, without loss of quality.

These applications are both Open Sorce and as such a completely free of charge :D

I never had these problems with XP. I have already drawn a lot of images in paint that I don't have the time to re-draw in another program. Thanks for the names of the other programs, but I need to know how to fix these problems in paint.

If I save a Screens Capture of my Desktop (1600x1000) and paste into MS Paint it looks sharp same as my desktop until I save it both a .jpg or .bmp it blurs so much I can hardly read smaller fonts.

I cant remember if this used to happen before but I know it di not in past on my older monitor as RES was lower but the capture looks perfect till its saved.
