I've been trying to run Serif Page Plus SE free but continually get the 'not responding' message. I've given up on their support line as they l=keep telling me the same thing over and over. I'm running Vista - is there a c0mpatibility problem?

try to run as administrator.. right click on the program and select "run as administrator"

Nah - doesn't work. I just get re-directed to the 'registration' page and when I click the button, nothing happens. I've sent one more request to their support site - then probably have to give up on it.

It definitly works with vista.. no compability issue.. if its directing you to the registration page.. this means that you are running the free version.. !!

A check of the Serif website tells me that Pageplus SE is not compatible with Vista. Loos like I'll have to pay.

I finally bought PagePlus 9, which will be quite satisfactory for me. Prices were all over the place - from 99 pounds to $9.99. Shows how shopping around pays off!:D
