Overlapping Icons?

I looked at my icons and realized they were super huge so when I right clicked and chose medium size, they overlapped. Please help (:

left click on one lightly
hold down control on keyboard
then turn mouse wheel for a surprise.

Thanks but that didn't work. That just resized it. They still overlapped. :/

This seems to be the answer, but never, never, but never, touch registry unless you are competent in that area and make a system restore point first and a registry back up.
