I was wondering about this action. My issue is I am currently running Windows Vista 32bit (home Premium) and use Office 2007. Lately when I try to run Outlook 2007, it opens up, then just hangs there, not downloading/recieving any new mail even after waiting several minutes. If I manually hit the Send/Receive button it proceeds to download the new mail message, but then when I attempt to preview any mail, it does not show anything other than the last e-mail that was highlighted (unless i double-click a different e-mail to open up a window). and still even though I have my send/recieve set to every 1 minute, it wont do it unless I hit the button again. Then after being sufficiently frustrated when I exit the program, it still stays active in the task Manager window which I then either click on End Process or End Process Tree, then try again to open outlook. Sometimes I have to do this 2 or 3 times before it works normally! One thing I notice is that unless I am down to ~71 processes something may be interfering with Outlook working properly. Any thoughts?? Hopefully someone has encountered this before!!!
Much Appreciated!
