opening PDF file attachment problem

Hello All,
I recently upgraded to Vista and set up user accounts for myself, my wife and two children. My wife has administrator rights as well as myself. I am connected to the Internet on a DSL line. When I go online and recieve PDF files I can open them without problem via my log in site. My wife,however, when she is on her log in site cannot open the same document. PDF files appear as a blank document in the viewer (in mine there is the PDF icon) and it tries to open it in MicroSoft Works without success. Can anyone tell me what might be the problem and how I can remedy this?

Install FoxIt reader in your wife's account. That should set up the file association.

Thanks. That worked. When I open the file it asks me if I want to allow the program to access something from FoxIt. Is this OK to do?

If there's some spam attached you might want to try one of the older versions from this page:

IIRC any version 2.0 or older is lean and mean. I'm
running 2.0 on Vista64 and it seems to work fine.
