Only jpeg thumbnail can be seen

In older versions of Windows,we were always able to see thumbnails such as jpge, picture tubes, eml, web pages) in our folders.But,with Vista we can no longer can see them.Is there a way to correct this so that we can see our thumbnail images again? Only jpge image works , but not picture tubes, eml, web pages etc

No. I still not see thumbnail of eml, web pages.
Only Windows 2000 can see eml, web pages and much more.
Jpge images are fine.

Sorry, but you will not see a thumbnail preview of a .eml file as the icon. However, if you turn on the Preview Pane, you should see a preview of the selected .eml file in it instead though.

What about the third party? A file or program that would enble thumbnail of any file
as eml, html? Windows 2000 has the function, but XP did not have it (had to use third party )

You can try and see if a 3rd party viewer may allow you to, but usually thumbnails will only work with Windows Photo Gallery as the default program instead.

Found no third party for Vista thumbnail for EML and HTM ,only for XP.
